High volume of call requests
We are experiencing extremely high volumes of calls today and so we are using a very strict triage system to ensure patients in most need are dealt with as quickly as possible. Please use Ask My Gp and your case will be triaged by a clinician. You will be allocated an appropriate response slot but this may mean that you are not contacted today. Please note, we cannot guarantee what time you will be contacted and it is important that you give us the most appropriate contact number to avoid missing a call back. You may be called anytime up to 6.30pm. If you feel that your symptoms have worsened or you require urgent assistance before you hear back from us, please contact NHS 111, Please also allow up to 72 hours for routine prescriptions to be processed.
